U Průhonické obory

Living in the English style, in the midst of green fresh lawns is not necessarily only a dream we get a glimpse of in the TV series now and then. Thanks to the ING Centrum Bydlení, we have an opportunity now to purchase a house like that as part of the U Průhonické obory (Průhonice Deer-park) Project, the very next doors to the renowned Průhonice Park established by Arnošt Emanuel Count Silva – Tarouca more than 120 year ago.

Houses in the English style, with a direct entrance to the terrace within the green garden from the living room, will be a favourite to those fond of nature, fresh air and peace. It only takes to jump your bike and, several minutes later, you are in the Průhonice Park, with the Botič Brook Valley picturesquely changing woody species, tree and bush groups and open meadows, ponds and little brooks, to jointly create a unique work of the European high landscaping style. On our way through the green, we may also visit the local Dendrologic Garden holding a unique collection of about one and a half thousand local and exotic woody species.

Living at U Průhonické obory and roundabouts, however, will provide us also with lots of other ideas in response to “What shall we do when friends, acquaintances or family arrive?” We will visit the Průhonice Castle in the afternoon and, in the evening, after a pleasant dinner prepared by the lady of the house, we will chat at the fireplace, sunk in the cosy armchairs, over a glass of red wine which attains even more fire in the light of the flames. In summers, we will welcome the option of holding barbecue parties in the garden, while we will find the warmth of the indoor fireplace so pleasing in winters. If you make your choice this year, you are likely to move in within a year already.
