A surrealistic performance Emílie was inspired by Czech surrealist Jindřich Štyrský’s belles-lettres, paintings by René Magritte, the well-known photographs by Tono Stano and the film Dancer in the Dark. Besides that, you can find a real feminine bodies in this performance full of acrobatics on silks , perverted male fantasy but also something from our lives where everyday work drives us mad. Magical dreary atmosphere where women soar.
Live original music by Alžběta Kostrhunová was awarded at the Italian Festival Teatrale Internazionale “CASTELLO DI GORIZIA”, in 2011.
