An Oasis - SO GOOD

I'm a foodie from NorCal, where good, tasty, and cheap indian/south-asian food is in great abundance. The competition is nowhere near as stiff in Prague, but Beas reminds me of a place you'd eat at in Berkeley, only the quality is better. I've eaten here at least a dozen times now on my lunch breaks and I'm still not tired of it. Wholesome, no frills (in service and decor), cheap as dirt, but yummy all the same. Not a great Beas experience

After reading the previous reviews on Beas we were looking forward to eating there, but we left feeling pretty disappointed. The décor wasn´t great but that didn´t really bother us that much since most Indian places don´t waste too much effort on appearance as it all goes on the food. Tasty food at a great price

Beas offers probably the best tasting Indian food you can get in Prague for such a cheap price. Didn't really like the decor much nor was there much of an atmosphere but the food really was good, and I would rather come back here in the future than go to Govinda.

it's the Beas knees

Dolphingirl is spot-on about Beas. It's valuable info to know about a place like Beas when you're hungry, near Old Town Square and don't feeling like shelling out 250kc for lunch. It's also a great spot when you want to eat fast. I always go for the daily meal - choice of big or small and already prepared. Accompany that with a large mango lassi and you're in business. If you've got a sweet tooth, grab one of their delicious dessert... read more

Super Yummy Indian Food

I found Beas by accident, but knew as soon as I walked in and took a whiff, there was someone in the kitchen who knew what he/she was doing. Specializing in Indian vegetarian cuisine, the menu is limited to a few daily specials, and one Thali special, a large one that includes a sweet and a small one with no sweets. This is the “high” ticket item on the menu at 129Kc. Everything is cooked fresh, subtly and richly spiced. The chai is... read more
