Jama

After viewing the Battle of the Burger, Episode #1, I did my own taste test of the three restaurants mentioned plus one not mentioned and my conclusions came out the same as the supposedly randomly selected testers in the video as I overall preferred the Jama burger. But beyond the food one must, I believe, look at the atmosphere and service as well because bad service and ambiance can turn a decent meal into a bad one. In this area I must... read more

Disappointment

Let me preface this by saying, I am very easy to please when it comes to food. I used to go to Jama for the Sunday wings. They were great! Large, plentiful and very tasty. Now, apparently, that has changed. What has also changed is the burger. Just yesterday I watched a video where 3 people voted on the best burgers in town, and they all raved about Jama's. terrible food, worse service

This place has got to have some of the worst service in the Czech Republic, and that's really saying something. I must have waiting almost half an hour before I could even get the waitress to hand me a menu, plus another half an hour before I could make my order and get some food, which turned out to be way too greasy and way too salty, but otherwise tasteless. Plus the waitress was rude the entire time I was there, nearly dropped my plate of... read more

A feast for all

Friday night, I took my entire team to Jama for dinner and drinks to celebrate the end of a recent project - the atmosphere was very lively, good choice of music but above all, the service was very pleasant and cheerful and the food was fantastic. I've eaten at Jama on an off for the past 8 years and if recent standards are anything to go by, you are in for a good time and quality eats. Try the Mexcan Talir (Mex Plate) - it's bigger than... read more

Definitely worth a miss.

Was there with a few friends for some beer and wings. The wings were dry and rubbery, the hot wings smelled and tasted of tabasco. And then we went for the burgers. Its really tough to make a burger this bad.
And to make things worse, the lady serving our table was playing with a dog brought in by another patron, turned around and went on serving everyone with out even washing her hands. Which really did it for me.
Try other... read more
