Do you work in an international business setting where English is the common language and want to gain more confidence? I have a year-long program to help get you speaking and more confident. Or we can create one specific to your personal and professional goals.

Are you interested in studying abroad either on an exchange program or at a university away from the Czech Republic? Need to write your application and want a bit of help getting it just right? I can help.

Are you traveling and want to practice or learn English travel vocabulary? Let's chat. Do you travel for business and want to improve your English? We can do that, too. Includes culture discussion such as small talk before meetings in and other nuances depending on the culture.

Are you working on a writing project or presentation in English and want a native speaker to review it with you? I've worked with students from academia to legal counsel in the aviation industry. Other students have come from the following professions: medical, pharmaceutical, real estate, human resources, building, and so on.

And while my focus is Business English and adults, I do also work with teenagers from time to time for conversation practice and/or test prep. *Please note, if you're looking for someone for young children, I'm not the best person for this age group, and am happy to recommend friends and colleagues whose specialty is Young Learners.*

I've been back in Prague a year, after a decade away, and have worked with a variety of students in a variety of industries. Below are some of their reasons for wanting to learn and practice their English.

Human Resources - I've worked with a number of human resources professionals and have been one myself both in the US and in Prague. One student was changing jobs. Another was working with more and more English speakers, so wanted to sound use more native language.
Job opportunities - Help available with motivation letters and CVs as well as interview practice.
Promotion - Preparing English lessons to help students move up in their role at work or to another better paying opportunity within their company.
Presentations - How to design your presentation, role play practice, and language use best practices. One student had 3 lessons on their presentation and got promoted to their desired project.
Speeches - help with writing, reviewing, light editing, or practice for pronunciation, fluency, and accuracy.
Practice their language skills - Pronunciation, fluency, and accuracy.
Test Prep - First Certificate, CAE, and IELTS. Test prep can also mean tutoring for upcoming exams, quizzes, and tests in English. Have worked with students from secondary school to PhD candidates.
Conversation - Pronunciation, fluency, and accuracy.

Writing - I was a copy and content writer for over ten years, and am now a novelist; though I do still write copy from time to time. If you want to improve your writing in English, I can help. I've also worked with native English speakers on their writing as well as writing coach and mentior.
