Letní Letná, the winter version of the popular summer circus has plenty of fun planned under its (heated) big top: swing dancing, big bands, and electroswing DJ sets from 7pm.

Kick off the festivities with late afternoon film screenings and party well into the New Year with DJs and drinks at Kino Aero; meanwhile at Kino Lucerna, the Berlin Philharmonic gala New Year’s Eve concert gets a live showing.

3. Color-Saturated New Year’s Eve

The Technicolour Party at Panoptikon Barikáda, presented by the 101 Collective, promises a trippy good time of “rainbows, beauty, music, and colorfulness” and UV decoration; take your chances (and your mace) at Retro Music Hall’s UV Glow blowout.

4. Jazzy New Year’s Eve

Popping corks and groovy riffs make the parties at Blues SklepJazz DockAghaRTA, and Jazz Republic the perfect pick for jazz lovers.

5. Naughty New Year’s Eve

At Meetfactory The Amazing Cabaret Rouge will blend burlesque, cabaret, circus, video projection, and live music; Prague Burlesque will perform a midnight countdown spectacular at the Royal; things will get Strictly Burlesque at Bar and Books Manesova.

6. Clubbing New Year’s Eve

7. Gay-Friendly New Year’s Eve

Pioneer Prague will host a NYE Sailor Ball at the Cargo Gallery Boat on Náplavka. Nautical/maritime dress code, old-school disco, and drinks on the boat bar from 8pm.

With its glitzy interior and delish prix-fixe menu, the newly opened Old Town restaurant Adore is a stylish choice for December 31 dining; no better time than NYE to try Prague’s newest champagne bar, Champagneria which will be open from “4pm to 2016.”

10. Retro New Year’s Eve

If you love 80s and 90s tunes, and we know you do, Lucerna Music Bar is celebrating twenty years of vintage video glory with a special NYE edition, La Loca brings back the 80s, Cafe Neustadt  is reeling in the years hipster style, and it simply doesn’t get more retro than 90210-themed fun at the Peach Pit.
