Prague’s Christmas Markets 2011
From now until Saturday, December 24th

Locations:
Prague 1, Nám. Republiky, 25.11.- 24.12.2011
Prague 2, Nám. Míru, 20.11.- 24.12.2011
Prague 2, Palackého Nám., 27.11.- 24.12.2011
Prague 3, Nám. Jiřího z Poděbrad, 23.11.- 24.12.2011

Prague’s markets are a fun place to go with friends, drink some mulled wine and enjoy the Christmassy atmosphere. You’re likely to find a happy mixture of Czechs & expats pottering around the well-stocked stalls and indulging in the festive mulled wine. Trdlo (a traditional Czech sweet pastry), Langoše (a savory fried snack), roasted chestnuts, sausages, and hog roast are all offer at different prices depending on the centrality of your market’s location. Drag yourself away from the food and drink and you’ll find a pleasant selection of souvenirs, tablecloths and crystal. The goods available don’t really differ from location to location, which might prove frustrating for those looking for that unique gift for a loved one.
