Director Maksim Komaro, who lives in Finland, has been working on the production from Helsinki with the help of online cameras and monitors.
It’s the first production in the history of the circus that will be performed entirely outside on the Jatka78 summer stage.
“The basis of the word kaleidoscope is Greek and more or less means the observation of beautiful forms,” director Komaro said in a statement.
“And that’s it the project is actually – about focusing more on the beauty and charm of the moment and the final shape than on deeper philosophizing about the meaning of life and being.”
Eight Czech acrobats, actors and dancers comprise the cast of the show. Audience members should expect to see all types of visual stunts, including trampoline jumping, globe walking and hanging acrobatics.
In addition, the show will feature giant bouncing on a teeterboard for the first time.
