Heading into 2020, the Singaporean passport has tied the Japanese passport for the rank of most visa-free travel destinations, with holders able to freely enter 190 countries across the globe.
South Korea, meanwhile, has lost a visa free travel destination and now ties with Germany and Finland for second on the list.
European passports make up the bulk of the world’s strongest, with holders of passports from Denmark, Italy, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Sweden, Austria, Netherlands, and Portugal all able to travel to 185 or more countries without a visa.
Holders of a UK or US passport can travel to 184 countries without a visa, just one more than those with a Czech passport.
UK passport holders can travel to Vietnam, Australia, and Guyana without a visa, which is required for Czech passport holders. Meanwhile, those with a Czech passport can travel to Iran and Turkey without a visa, while those with a UK passport cannot.
Compared to the US, Czech passport holders can travel visa-free to Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Iran, and Turkey, while US passport holders can travel without a visa to Mongolia, Central African Republic, Equitorial Guinea, Australia, and Guyana.

Among the world’s weakest passports are those from Afghanistan (visa-free travel to 25 countries), Iraq (27), Syria (29), Somalia and Pakistan (both 31).
