A few years back we covered this Czech Oasis in the American Desert; now you can revisit the annual Burning Man spectacle, a dusty summer festival for artists and free-thinkers in Black Rock City, Nevada, right here in Prague.

Czech photographer Marek Musil spent this past August at the event capturing what he describes as an “explosion of art, strange machines, sandstorms, loving people, and open hearts in a Mad Max environment.”

The resulting images will be on display at his exhibit Dust and Light: The Burning Man Collection at the Nikon Photo Gallery in Malá Strana, opening October 13.

These photos are a preview; the exhibit showcases the best of the 4,000 images Musil collected at the gathering.
