Prague, March 1 (CTK) – Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO ) will propose to the National Security Council (BRS) on Monday that flights from Milan and Venice be banned due to the novel coronavirus, Babiš told Czech Television (CT) today.
Babiš called on all hotels, dormitories and Airbnb operators to check who lived in them.
One of the infected persons in the Czech Republic is an American woman who used Airbnb. “She herself went to the hospital, which we do not want,” Babiš said.
The system of taking of samples at home should be adopted, he added.
On Monday, he will discuss this with regional sanitary stations and emergency services.
It would be good if on Monday teachers asked children who of them had been on holiday in Italy. “It should also be said at the BRS meeting whether to ban some major public events,” Babiš said.
