Following days of rain, expect warm summer temperatures in the Czech Republic this week

It’s been a rainy few weeks in Czech Republic, but relief is on the way: expect warm, summery weather across the country come this weekend.

Throughout the week, temperatures will creep up slowly, crossing the 25 Celsius mark before reaching the low 30s by the weekend, according to a report in iDnes.

It’s a welcome change-of-pace for many in the country, who have seen torrential rain and storms for weeks on end. Last weekend alone, over 250 millimeters of rain fell in some parts of the country like the Jizera mountains, according to a report in iDnes.

Wednesday will see some light showers and clouds as temperatures start to creep up to 24 degrees or so. By Thursday, temperatures will stay around 20 to 24 degrees with clouds and intermittent showers.

On Friday, showers and thunderstorms will roll in by the afternoon. Temperatures will rise from 22 to 26 degrees, depending on the location.

Over the weekend, temperatures will reach anywhere from 24 to 29 degrees, with a chance to exceed 30 degrees, with clouds and scattered showers, according to a report in iDnes.
