The last week of July saw pro riders on the international motocross circuit convene on the Czech town of Loket, just outside Karlovy Vary, for the 2016 Motocross FIM world championship in the MXGP and MX2 categories.

One of the largest and most prestigious motorsport events in the world, it took place in the town’s Loketské Serpentiny motocross areal where races for the EMX300, EMX85, and EMX65 were held as part of the thirteenth round of the international series.

These whiplash-inducing videos, in which the Czech countryside can be seen speeding by, were taken via GoPro cams (GoPro is an event sponsor) strapped to eight-time Italian Grand Prix champ Antonio Cairoli and top French racer Gautier Paulin.

Loket has been hosting the world championship since 1995.
