Prague, March 17 (CTK) – The Czech Republic recorded 383 confirmed coronavirus cases this morning, 39 more than last evening, the Health Ministry said this morning.

Three patients now suffering from COVID-19 are in a serious up to critical health condition, the ministry said.

Three people have been healed of the virus. In all, labs have conducted 6,302 tests.

The three healed patients are from Decin, north Bohemia. They were skiing in northern Italy. They were among the first to have been infected with the novel coronavirus that first appeared in the Czech Republic on March 1.

Almost one-half of the hit persons got infected abroad, the same part in the Czech Republic.

The government has declared the state of emergency, which has seriously limited the free movement of people and cancelled most public activities.

The government is to deal again with the situation later today.

Most of the infected people are from Prague, followed by the Olomouc region, central Moravia.

Further official data are to be released at around 18:00.
