More than 400 dancers, singers and musicians in traditional folk dress performed at the Moravian Ball in Prague on February 21. The event, now in its 59th year, draws folklore groups from the east of the country, as well as groups from Prague who seek to keep regional culture alive in the capital. As brass bands and cimbalom ensembles took turns playing in the main hall late into the night, dancers spilled out into the hallways and foyer of the National House in Smíchov.
