The first Apple Shop outside of Prague has opened in partnership with Alza.

Plzeň’s Alza store will host the Apple Shop--a shop within a shop--and will have the latest Apple products in a showroom staffed by Apple experts who have specific knowledge of iPhones, Apple Watches, and other branded items.

This would be an Apple Shop rather than an Apple Store, as there are currently no dedicated Apple Stores in the Czech Republic.

"We are pleased to have been able to bring the top customer service that the Apple Shop concept offers to the next branch. We were the first in the Czech Republic to present such close cooperation with the Apple brand in our showroom in Holešovice, and now we are the first to expand it beyond the capital, ”says Miroslav Kövary, Director of the Alza.cz Sales Network.

He continued: "Personally, I am very pleased that this happened in Plzeň, where we were the first in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe to present an extended presentation of the products of this brand in the White Plus program."

Alza is a retail partner of Apple and are licenced to sell Apple products having worked with American brand since 2014.

They currently have a range of dedicated Apple showrooms across stores in Zlín, Liberec, České Budějovice, and Anděl and Dejvice in Prague, with the Apple Shop in Prague located in Holešovice in Prague 7.
