The 15th Prague Fringe Festival will take over the intimate theater, museum, and cafe spaces of the city’s Malá Strana district for a nine-day run starting on May 27.
A full program has been announced and tickets went on sale yesterday; over 200 performances of forty different shows from theater companies from around the world are scheduled to run through June 4.
This year’s line-up features an eclectic mix of non-verbal and English-language performances with fun new additions of accompanying programs including “Frunch” a special daily Fringe brunch at the Mosaic House, and Fringe Club Nights, a nightly after hours party at Malastranská beseda.
Hot picks from the 2016 line-up include Together, an interactive performance by experimental theater troupe Almost Human, Hats Off To Laurel and Hardy, a theatrical highlights reel of the comedy duo’s films, indie jazz from Irish pianist Emer O’Flaherty, and War of the Worlds, a re-telling of the infamous 1938 Orson Welles radio broadcast.
The Prague Fringe Festival runs from May 27-June 4. Tickets are 100-150 CZK.
