From November 20, Manifesto Markets in Prague at both Florenc and Smíchov locations will transform into winter wonderlands with lights, Christmas trees, and festive food & drink along with some holiday shopping from local retailers.

At both locations, five-meter tall Christmas trees will be unveiled on Wednesday, November 20th to ring in the holiday season. Guests can also book heated transparent “igloos” (bookable via GoOut) to enjoy refreshments with some shelter from the colder weather.

“Manifesto Winter Market will be open for six weeks, bringing people and families together until the end of the year,” says the Market’s founder, Martin Barry.

“From November 20, Manifesto Florenc will be taking a ski break and Manifesto Smichov pop-up will close at its current location. In the city, you don’t have to go to the mountains to have winter fun. We’ve created a unique environment to enjoy fresh air in the city.”

Instead of disposable drinkware, both locations will be using special red & white porcelain cups featuring the Manifesto Market design produced by a local Czech designer for guests to enjoy mulled wine or other beverages of thier choice.

The next two months also represent your last opportunity to visit the Smíchov Manifesto Market, which was recently profiled in architectural magazine Dezeen. From January 2, the Smíchov pop-up location will be closing down.

At the Florenc market, a vintage chandelier will be added to the communal table running down the length of the market, with a fabric roof providing some respite from the winter weather.

Through the end of the holiday season, both Manifesto Markets will be open from Wednesdays through Sundays, 11:00 – 22:00.
