Our living spaces can exert a powerful influence on our moods, attitudes and ways of thinking. Architecture and interior design have the potential to inspire; to move us, comfort us, and reflect our own unique outlook on life.

One Prague development, in the well-connected and increasingly sought-after Chodov district, is being created with this design philosophy in mind. The Skyline project by renowned Czech real estate developer PSN offers a range of modern apartments which can be fitted out in interior designs influenced by some of Europe’s iconic cities of style.

At the same time, the development boasts a range of amenities intended to foster a sense of community among residents. With prices that are more affordable than at many other modern developments springing up in the Czech capital, Skyline provides an opportunity to secure home ownership in one of Prague’s prime residential locations.

Build your Skyline

Everyone’s idea of the perfect home is different. Whether it’s Scandinavian notions of “hygge”, history-inspired elegance, or modern vibrancy, a focused approach to interior design can dramatically transform the atmosphere of even the smallest apartment. In turn, the aesthetic qualities of a home, no matter its size, impacts on residents’ day-to-day life.

PSN has made this concept central to its Skyline development, creating three different interior design inspirations which “breathe elegance, comfort and creativity” and “give life to a place where you will feel great.” The templates draw on design principles influenced by three great European cities: Berlin, Oslo, and Prague.

“Berlin” is characterized by a “balancing between tradition and modernity”, representing a city of artists and creatives drawn by a lifestyle that’s exciting and extravagant. In the Skyline project, flats designed using this template will feature vibrant colors coupled with refined furnishings.

“Oslo”, on the other hand, draws inspiration from the world-famous principles of Scandinavian design. A minimalist approach making heavy use of wood materials and pastel tones create an atmosphere of comfort, practicality, and unity with nature.

“Prague” makes use of darker wood and stone furnishings to reflect the rugged terrain of the Vltava valley. This concept also draws on the traditional craftsmanship and warm tones that pervade many of Prague’s historic properties, channeling the city’s characteristic mix of historic and modern architectural elements.

Apartments currently on sale in the Skyline development comprise 1+kk and 2+kk spaces of varying sizes, most of which are available for prices between CZK 3,700,000 and CZK 6,500,000.

Why choose Chodov?

Chodov is an increasingly attractive destination for those seeking a home in Prague. Well-connected with metro and tram networks and boasting a rich variety of urban attractions and amenities, such as restaurants, cafes, cinemas, shopping centers and more, Chodov exudes an air of youthful vibrancy.

At the same time, the district stands removed from the hustle and bustle of the city center. This makes it the ideal place for young professionals, families and students who want to make the most of Prague life while enjoying a greater sense of privacy and tranquility.

The Skyline project is surrounded by hideaways in nature, including Botič natural park and Hostivař Forest Park. Other natural attractions include Košíkovský potok and the nearby reservoir. The area is ideal for dog walkers and those who simply love heading into nature to escape the noise of city life.

The area is advantageous for sporty types, with the Kateřinky hiking trail close at hand, as well as opportunities for water sports at Hostivařská přehrada or Jedenáctka Chodov water park. Cycle paths are easily accessible from Skyline, including the A22, one of the longest continuous routes in all of Prague, running along the Vltava river and through various nearby parks and forests.

A like-minded Skyline community

PSN representatives say the Skyline project will appeal to young people, including professionals, couples with and without children, and students. The assortment of 1+kk and 2+kk apartments makes it an accessible place for young buyers to get on the housing ladder and experience quality home ownership in the Czech capital.

A sense of community connecting residents will be enhanced by various shared amenities, including a fully-equipped gym and yoga point, a “party room” complete with TV, table football and space for coworking, and a roof terrace providing the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere and chat with neighbors.

Owners of selected units will benefit from cellar storage spaces. All residents will be able to use laundry and drying rooms, eliminating the need for a personal washing machine or dryer. The development will feature a room for stroller and bike storage, as well as parking for cars and motorbikes. Selected units come with a small fenced garden or garden beds with soil, providing an opportunity to incorporate nature into day-to-day life.

With apartments still available across eight floors of the building, PSN is encouraging those interested in the Skyline development to lose no time in enquiring. Attractive financing options are available to help prospective buyers turn their Prague property-ownership dreams into a reality.
