The year 2017 marks a first for Dyzajn Market: the popular selling event focused on local artists and designers will expand its spring edition to include an indoor shopping area for the first time ever.
The open-air market will be held as usual in the piazetta of the National Theatre, recently renamed Václav Havel Square.
It will host more than 200 participating vendors and a line-up of unique performances as well as screenings by the NaFilm Museum.
The indoor portion of the event will take place in an adjacent service building of the National Theatre where a small selection of carefully chosen designers, some nominated for Czech Grand Design awards, will be housed alongside a pop-up café.
Workshops will also take place inside giving visitors the opportunity to make their own floating planter or stitch a pair of luxury felt slippers.
The indoor market is a companion program to the activities on the square. Admission to the event is free.
The spring edition of Dyzajn Market takes place March 18-19, 2017.
