Revolutionary 30: Thirty years of freedom firsthand
Through November 24, Revoluční 30
An exhibition reflecting thirty years since the Velvet Revolution will pop up at the symbolic address Revoluční 30. Curators Radek Wohlmuth and Čestmír Suška have invited thirty artists whose work offers a bold statement on life under censorship. Read more.

St. Martin’s Wine
November 11, Vinotéka sv. Klára
This Troja event hosted by the Botanical Gardens and Vinotéka sv. Klára is an annual tradition on St. Martin’s Day which takes place at exactly 11:11 am when the wine cellar opens for a tasting of eleven young wines. Read more.

De La Soul

Hip-hop pioneers and legends of the form, De La Soul mark the 30th anniversary of the release of their seminal album 3 Feet High and Rising, a work that established them on the world stage and introduced a mass audience to their unique, brand of hip-hop, inflected with jazz, soul, funk, and witty lyrics. The opening of the new exhibition season of the National Gallery Prague at the Trade Fair Palace will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. Velvet Brunch

Just one of many events commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the Velvet Revolution, this “street brunch” takes place directly on Národní třída where visitors can partake in a retro Czech breakfast, with breads, spreads, and poppy seed rolls provided by Antonínovo pekařství.
