Prague, March 24 (CTK) – A third COVID-19 patient died in the Czech Republic this evening, a 71-year-old woman in Prague’s General Teaching Hospital (VFN), who also suffered from other health problems that contributed to her death, Health Minister Adam Vojtech (for ANO) has told media.

The woman was admitted to the VFN with a lung disease on March 22.

Vojtech said that another two people have recovered from COVID-19, raising the number of Czechia’s recovered patients to ten.

“They diagnosed her [the deceased woman] with the coronavirus in the VFN. I am very sorry. I beg all not to visit their grandparents now, or with their [nose and mouth] protected with a face masks,” Vojtech said.

“We also have some good pieces of news. The Usti and Plzen regions report a recovered patient [each]. Their number has risen to ten,” Vojtech said.
