Rain will hit Prague and Czechia this week, with the heaviest rainfall expected during the middle of this week according to a forecast from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).
Temperatures are forecast to reach up to 24 degrees Celsius during the weekend, with weekday daytime temperatures set to range from about 11 degrees to 18 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday afternoon will see periodic showers in the capital and in the majority of the country. The coolest (and wettest) day will be Wednesday, with average temperatures set to stay below 13 degrees in the capital. Prague will see rainfall in the morning and early afternoon before a period of dryness in the evening.
Thursday will be relatively dry in the capital, with a little rainfall expected in patches in the afternoon. Friday will be largely dry and warmer than the rest of the week, with temperatures going up to 18 degrees Celsius during the day.
According to the ČHMÚ, by Thursday some areas in the country – especially the south and east – will have experienced up to 60 millimeters of rain. The ČHMÚ announced this morning a risk of river levels rising during the middle of this week.
