Prague never needs an excuse to throw a good party – whether it’s just another typical Saturday night or an especially ghoulish occasion, like Halloween. Many of the city’s top clubs and restaurants have giddily latched onto this beloved Western tradition and made it their own. So whatever your poison, throw on some fake blood and fangs and hit one or two (or three!) of these hotspots for a howling good time.

OCTOBER 25: MECCAWEEN

Mecca will transform its expansive space into a horror-ific forest full of ghosts, witches and other chillingly undead creatures. With a program that includes a trio of top DJs and a dress code that requires revelers to “be scary!”, this brash Holešovice darling promises to put on a “shocking” show.

OCTOBER 26: PSYCHOBILLY & ROCKABILLY HALLOWEEN

It may be one of the capital’s main tourist hubs, however, the Hard Rock Cafe still knows how to party like a true local. The menu offers “ghoulish drink specials” as well as a live music performance by The Moonshine Howlers, followed by a Djane Rocka video show. Don’t forget to wear a costume.

OCTOBER 27: OMG PARTY – HALLOWEEN

Mecca keeps the Halloween spirit roaring with its encore OMG Party. Look forward to a night of creepy decorations, special Halloween drinks made by a couple of bloodsucking bartenders, lots of music and dancing as well as a frolicking band of “sexy OMG boys” (OMG!!). Ace DJ Adam Watts, flying in from Sydney, will act as the party’s grand marshal.
