AKCENT Festival 2014 provides a fascinating review of the best of foreign and local documentary theatre. Stage documentaries, film-theatre performances, discussions, multimedia stage montages and so much more!

The festival features Argentinian progressive theatre star Lola Arias with her show My Life After, in which Argentinian actors born in the 70s and early 80s reconstruct their parents’ youth from photos, letters, tapes, used clothing, stories and foggy memories. Who were my parents when I was born? What was Argentina like before I learned to speak? How many versions are there about what happened before I existed or before I can remember?
