On Tuesday, 18 February 2014, the Italian soprano Raffaella Milanesi will perform in Dvořák Hall of the Rudolfinum, Prague, accompanied by the Collegium 1704 orchestra as part of the Baroque Opera Stars series. The programme will comprise much later music than has been customary for this orchestra: Italian opera of the height of bel canto (Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti), juxtaposed with late classical works by Joseph Haydn and Ludwig van Beethoven.
