The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions and the financial
services area.

Core duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

  • Manage relationship with external company in charge of accounting.

  • Month and end-year closing processes, and managing relationship with external auditors.

  • Authorize payments, monitor cash flows.

  • Ensuring successful completion of the company´s tax declaration submission.

  • Issuing intra-group invoices.

  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and provide internal clients with required analysis.

  • Generally assist and support management in key financial processes.

  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, principles and checks.

  • Manage team of accounting department, conduct performance evaluation, process new hiring, etc

Work Experience Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.

  • Excellent computer skills on MS Office.

  • 3+ years of proven accounting experience in finance.

  • Leadership experience is an advantage.

  • Demonstrate experience in driving continuous improvement.

  • Business-level Czech/English language skills (speaking and writing).

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills required.

Education Requirements:

  • Education in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.

  • Master degree in accounting or finance.
