Madonna is a very small, friendly boutique that offers the best French lingerie brand Lise Charmel and a mix of a few other brands, including Donna Karan. The selection is for the more modest and traditional female who enjoys wearing tasteful bra and pantie sets. On display were bras in white, black, navy, and red with lace or jewel embellishments. Madonna sells lingerie sets and separate items ranging in colors, textures and sizes. Prices for sets average around 5,000 CZK. The boutique carries sizes up to E and offers the option to special order an item. 

What stood out the most about this quaint shop was the extremely friendly staff, which just happens to be a close-knit family circle. Owner, Andrea Jirsova opened the boutique 14 years ago and employs her mother to help manage the business. When asked about the history of the shop, Andrea’s mother showed me a publicity piece with dozens of celebrities wearing the brands Madonna carries. A-List celebs, such as Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Rihanna, have been spotted wearing the sexy pieces found in the Madonna boutique. 

In addition to bras and panties, the boutique carries lace nighties and Gerbe Christies stockings.

Purchases are wrapped in very nice packaging and customers are sent off with a smile. 

The 2-year-old boutique, managed by Andrea Bolinova, is a very modern store with a sexy feel right from the front door. Window mannequins wearing the shop’s fashions are the first “people” you meet when entering. La Perla only carries its own brand with prices ranging around 3,000 CZK to nearly 10,000 CZK. Lingerie sets average around 10,000 CZK.

Entering Agent Provocateur is like entering a fantasy world. This is not for the modest, traditional introvert. This boutique is for the bold and confident woman wanting to show off her assets! 

More than just lingerie sets are sold in this boutique. Swim suits, accessories, jewelry dresses, and much more can be found here. Lingerie sets are priced between 10,000 CZK-12,000 CZK and come in a variety of flavors. Not your everyday lingerie sets, these sets are more like playsuits for the friskiest of customers. Corsets, suspenders, nipple pasties and babydoll nighties are popular items at Agent Provocateur. However, some less flashy sets are available (but not many). Sizes range from 30A-36E & F.

Perfume and lotions priced between 1,300-3,000 CZK are available to add that special something to any gift. 

For the really naughty Valentine’s plans, luxurious whips, gloves and masks are also available. 

Beginning one week prior to Valentine’s Day, the shop will be inviting their previous male customers via post to a special Valentine’s shopping event. Shoppers will receive complimentary champagne and a personal assistant to help find the right gift for that special woman. Also, a box of chocolates will be given with all purchases. 

Founded by the son of famous designer Vivienne Westwood, the shop’s roots are British but scattered throughout the world. The nearest location outside of Prague is Vienna. 

A more modest selection of sleepwear, Chez Parisiene is a small, friendly shop with nightgowns, bras, panties, swim wear, slippers and stockings. They specialize in the French brand Lise Charmel. The boutique has been around for 15 years, but is changing locations in May 2013. 

Lingerie sets are priced around 5,500 CZK. Items are available to purchase separately. Pajama sets range in price from 4,000-6,000 CZK for satin and 3,000-5,000 CZK for cotton. Sizes are available in XS-48/50 and bra sizes available in 7A-85E. Larger sizes are available for special order.

A French company based in Germany, the shop prides itself on being aware of what each region needs for a good night’s sleep. Czech customers can rest assured that when they buy cotton pajamas from Chez Parisiene, they are getting 100% cotton that will keep them warm during the cold Czech winters. 

Le Chaton is a small boutique with tons of brands to choose from. The selection comes from all over the world, including France and Australia. Specifically, Lise Charmel, the modern, adventurous brand Marie Jo, and the intricate, lace-inspired Simone Perele label are popular brands found in the boutique. 

All budgets can be satisfied here as the prices range from 2,000 CZK up to over 11,000 CZK. Bras, panties, lingerie sets, robes, and much more are available. Sassy, sultry looks are available, but the more modest, classic vixen can be satiated with the selection at Le Chaton. Black lace, red satin, white silk … it can all be seen here. 

In addition to bras and panties, the boutique has a jewelry selection where you can find necklaces and earrings of all colors. Earrings range in prices from 85 CZK to 250 CZK. 

The retailer has 5 locations in Prague, including one outlet store. The Le Chaton website offers a huge variety of lingerie and a helpful online chat assistant to help with shopping.
