Campo Marzio – Colourful Italian design at the Palladium
A bright orange “corner” has appeared on Level +1 of the Palladium- adding new colour and originality to the shopping centre. Campo Marzio is an Italian artisan shop, specializing in writing instruments and fine leather accessories for business and personal use – with a difference.
The company, which originated in Rome 60 years ago, developed a concept that “Business is Fashion”, creating products of quality which make work fun and colourful. Today Campo Marzio boutiques in major towns of Italy, as well as in the Far East, Europe and the Middle East. The corner in the Palladium is the first outlet in Prague, but the company is planning to open its own boutique in the city centre soon
Campo Marzio is a narrow street in an old district of Rome, close to the Pantheon. It is an area of small artisan shops and boutiques. Originally specializing in manufacture and repair of fine writing instruments, the company has remained in the area since 30 years; but developed its range on offer to include fine leather office accessories. As the company spread across Italy, and beyond, it retained the name of its Roman origins.
Following the trend for colour and individuality, the product range has now extended to include personal articles, and the colour range has also expanded. The Campo Marzio stores present the visitor with literally a bright rainbow: fuxia, bright green, lilac, yellow, orange and many more colours.
The product ranges include pens of various sizes and materials – fountain pens, rollers, ball points. The articles in leather or nabuk include briefcases, wallets, passport covers, photo-albums, business-card cases, desk accessories – and many more.
Prices are very reasonable, starting from about 300,- Kc. All items are packaged in the company´s own gift-boxes. Any item could make an ideal gift for any special occasion. “Campo Marzio Design” represents originality, colour and style in a quality product.
