Scottish actor Brian Cox of "Succession" fame and "Lethal Weapon" star Danny Glover have confirmed their attendance at Prague Comic-Con 2023.
While Cox is best known for his role as a media mogul and patriarch of the dysfunctional Roy dynasty in HBO's "Succession," the actor has lent his formidable talents to a multitude of films and series including "X-Men 2," "The Bourne Myth," "Deadwood," and "Penny Dreadful."
According to IMDB, Cox has also voiced a number of video game characters including Lionel Starkweather (Manhunt), Scholar Visari (Killzone franchise), and Jack Dehnam (Syndicate).
Aside from appearing as Mel Gibson's partner Roger Murtaugh in the "Lethal Weapon" franchise, Danny Glover's roles range from action-packed ("Predator") to high drama, appearing in Steven Spielberg's 1985 adaptation of Alice Walker's novel "The Color Purple."
Though this year's Comic-Con program for Prague has not yet been confirmed, both actors are likely to participate in Q&A, photo, and autograph sessions. A spokesperson for the event told ČTK the program would be dedicated to phenomena such as "Game of Thrones," "Harry Potter," "Star Trek," "Star Wars," "Red Dwarf," manga, anime, and other genres.
The fourth annual event will also offer a fan program for cosplay enthusiasts, games and competitions, and colorful entertainment. The three-day Prague Comic-Con festival takes April 14–16 at O2 universum. In 2022, 18,000 fans attended Comic-Con, the first of which took place in the U.S. in 1970.
