Registration is now open for an athletic event that aims to combine street smarts with physical acumen. The five-kilometer Urban Challenge will take place September 17 in the Pragovka arts space, an industrial ruin that housed production of Praga cars during the First Republic.

Twenty-five obstacles will be present on the race circuit which, from the looks of the promotional photos and videos, will involve scaling vintage automobiles, jumping over crumbling cinder blocks, and hopping through old tires.

Despite these unique challenges organizers say that the race, which will take place both inside and outside the partially renovated complex, is safe and accessible to participants and their supporters.

Open in spring 2016, the emerging cultural center Pragovka is located in Vysočany. It houses 40 open art studios, and currently exhibits legends of Czech graffiti art such as Pasta Oner in a gallery setting. It is also due to open a large outdoor stage.
