The arrival of spring – and with it, longer days and warmer weather – welcomes more opportunities to get outside, enjoy some of Prague’s outdoor spots, and bask in the natural areas in and around the capital.

Waliking-tour information guide GuruWalk recently announced that Prague is the seventh-best city in the world to explore on foot, underlining the Czech capital’s vast offerings of nature, history, and charm.

We want to know some of your favorite walking routes in Prague, whether in forests and woodland areas such as Divoká Šárka or leafy parks like Stromovka. Maybe you prefer historic routes, strolling the grounds of the Vyšehrad fortress, the flower gardens of Petřín, long rambles along the riverbanks, or wandering the vast spaces of Prague Castle.

Perhaps you like to head out of the center and walk through the vast Průhonice Park – filled with lakes, many flora, and viewpoints – or the picturesque area around Troja Palace, which dates all the way back to the 17th century.

Wherever you like to walk, we'd love to hear about your favorite trails and routes in Prague, and what makes them special.
