The seventh annual Praha žije hudbou festival brings live music to the streets and squares across the city on June 3 and 4. Among the well-known names, you can find Aneta Langerová, Lenka Dusilová, Mucha, and Circus Brothers. There is also a lot of as-yet-unknown talent to be discovered. Read more here and here.
Indie singer and songwriter James Harries will bring his laid-back stylings to the Fitzgerald in Karlín on June 3. His song “Something Like This” can be heard on the soundtrack to the recent Czech holiday film “Přání Ježíškovi.” Read more here.
Guitarist Eric Clapton finally comes to O2 Arena on June 5. Tickets purchased for previous dates in 2020 and 2021 remain valid. He has been playing selections going all the way back to his time in Cream, plus of course, his cover of “I Shot the Sheriff” and his big hit “Layla” from the Derek and the Dominoes era. Grammy-winning pop stars Imagine Dragons bring their Mercury Tour to Letiště Letňany on June 5 and 6. In previous shows on the tour, they have played over 20 songs with their big hit “Radioactive” coming near the end. The Prague shows will be just the second and third ones on the European leg of their tour. Read more here and here.

Drink for Ukraine vol. 2: Beer Festival Benefit and Crafted Postcovid Beer & Music Festival
Over 35 breweries, including small producers, from all over the Czech Republic will gather at the Drink for Ukraine charity festival on June 4 at the Prague Congress Center. The festival will take place both inside in the winter garden and outside on the terrace. The event is under the auspices of the People in Need foundation and Prague Mayor Zdeněk Hřib, and has financial support from Plzeňský Prazdroj. Read more here. Join a bike gang or splash around
World Bike Ride Prague and Pool Parties with DJ
AutoMat, the UN Information Center, and several embassies want to highlight the importance of bicycles in the context of sustainable development. Prague Critical Mass bike ride, part of a worldwide biking celebration will take place on June 5 at noon from Kasárna Karlín, and then at the same location in the afternoon, there will be workshops, live music, and other activities. This Saturday kicks off summer-long pool parties with a DJ at Manifesto Anděl. The first edition on June 4 also features a samba class with Doris Martínez. Read more here.

ČEZ Primátorky and French wine festival
The French wine festival Fête Divine 2022 takes place at Na břehu Rhôny in Výtoň on June 3 and 4. Some 20 French wineries will be represented and there will be live music on both days. Read more here.
The 109th edition of the Primátorky boat race gets underway on June 4 with qualifying matches in the morning and some finals in the afternoon. Finals continue into June 5, with races in the main categories. The side program lets people try rowing machines and visit a popup gallery. Read more here and here.

Křižík Fountain in Výstaviště reopens and Edison celebrates three years
The Křižík Fountain in Výstaviště is a fitting setting for Magical Fountain. The circus-like show with acrobats and dancers traces the development of humanity and the work of Czech inventor František Křižík. The show takes place once a month, with the next one on June 3. Read more here.
Celebrate arthouse cinema Edison Film Hub's third birthday on June 3 with a special screening of Sofia Coppola's edgy "Marie Antoinette" followed by a discussion and afterparty where no doubt they will let you eat cake. Daniel Sloss and Gay Agenda
Scottish stand-up comedy superstar Daniel Sloss will perform his new solo show “Hubris” at Prague's Forum Karlín on 3 June 3. No topic is taboo, and he provokes the audience not only to laugh but also to think. The performance will be in English and is suitable for visitors over the age of sixteen. The Gay Agenda and Prague Price celebrate Pride Month with a Comedy Cabaret at Rock Cafe on June 4. The night of drag, burlesque, and stand-up comedy, in English, will feature Hayley the Strange, Chlorophyll Von Needle, Angelina Angelic, and more. Ten percent of the ticket sales will go to Rainbow House, Prague Pride’s new community center, which opened last year. Read more here and here.

Celebrate the culture of one of our neighbors at Polish Day in the Garden, held in the garden of the Polish Embassy, just under Prague Castle on June 4. Explore street art and architectural splendor
Kramář Villa tour and Wall Street festival
The newly opened exhibition Wall Street presents graffiti and street art from local artists Jan Kaláb (Point), Jakub Matuška (Masker), and Michal Škapa (Tron), among others. The name of the exhibition refers both to the location of the art and its monetization. The show is at Galerie Villa Pellé until Aug. 7. Read more here.
Visit Kramář Villa in Letná Park on June 4 from 9 am with the last tour starting at 4 pm. The villa, which was renovated last year, is the official seat of the prime minister and is used for meetings and special events. It is named for Karel Kramář, the first prime minister after Czechoslovak independence. Read more here.

Baroque children's theater, carousel rides, and Prague Transit Day
A 200-year-old carousel is on top of Petřín Hill until Sept. 30. The hand-carved carousel from Florence ranks among the best in Europe. it is open daily from 9 am to 9 pm. read more here.
June 3 and 4 packed are packed with family-friendly events at Letňany Not Only for Children, held in the Letňany forest park. Highlights include an Aerosmith revival band and a closing with a laser show and fireworks. Read more here.
National Gallery in Prague’s Sternberg Palace on Hradčanské náměstí will host a series of Baroque theater performances and workshops for children and adults on June 4, 6. The project is in cooperation with Geisslers Hofcomoedianten, which has been performing across the country since 2014. They will also perform "Římská Lukrécie: Nomádská operní travestie" on June 7 at the Schwartzenberg Palace. Read more here and here.
