The Czech Republic should see the return of summer weather this week. It will gradually warm up to above 30 degrees Celsius and could even reach 36 degrees at the end of the weekend. Showers will be rather isolated, with more rain is expected only on Thursday according to a forecast from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).

Showers or light rain may appear today in the mountains in the southwest and northeast of the Czech Republic. In the evening, the precipitation and cloud cover will decrease.

It will be partly cloudy to cloudy on Tuesday, with some showers possible in the northeast. The highest temperatures will rise to 22 to 26 degrees, and on Wednesday they may already reach the tropical thirties. But it will be a bit colder in the northeast. From the west, the sky will begin to cloud over on Wednesday.

On Thursday, it should be mostly cloudy and there will be showers and occasional thunderstorms. Meteorologists expect the highest daily temperatures to range from 23 degrees Celsius in the north to 32 degrees in the southeast.

Friday should be partly cloudy to cloudy, especially in the south there may be isolated thunderstorms. Maximum temperatures will stay below 30 degrees at the end of the working week. But that will change over the weekend and early next week.

On Saturday, the highest temperatures should be 26 to 30 degrees, then gradually 32 to 36 degrees Celsius. The weekend will be sunny, but at the end of it there may be occasional thunderstorms due to temporarily increased cloud cover.
