Technological advancements have ushered in a new era of lasers, lighting, and video mapping on the EDM scene. With complex artist-projected visuals fast becoming an important part of the party, it’s fair to say that spatial augmented reality is the new disco ball. Here are some upcoming events that take light to new levels:

Robert Henke will present a series of electronic events as part of this year’s Lunchmeat festival. Shows will feature special light performances by German artist Robert Seidel, who’s currently working as the festival’s resident “visualist”. Progressive music and mind-blowing visuals await!

Prague 7’s Neone venue plays host to a series of the Lunchmeat Festival’s warm-up events. This all female-line up promises house, techno, deep house and electronica with Berlin’s award-winning visual artist Jem the Misfit.

Enter the dark to see the light and explore the Stalin monument with incredible installations thanks to BLOK4. Take this rare opportunity to see the artist at work in the usually closed monument.

Prague’s most luminous festival enters its third year of site-specific projections as well as interactive and light installations in various locations around the city. Familiar spots will be transformed in front of your very eyes! Be sure to check installation locations in advance to get a jump on the crowds.

“The world’s greatest Pink Floyd Show” returns to the Czech Republic with an ambitious light-spectacle celebrating the iconic British band and their career spanning five decades. Brit Floyd’s state-of-the-art light technology makes this a must-see show for both long time fans of ‘the Floyd” or casual listeners.

The sixth event from the collaborative XYZ project, Prague’s group of open-minded creatives, sees the XYZ project providing incredible lighting effects in the Holešovická Tržnice space, rising to new levels of light installation!
