We’ve got some great news for those of you who fancy travelling to this year’s Colours by train (something which we can only recommend). With your Colours of Ostrava ticket, you can travel to the festival from any location in the Czech Republic for half price –  your return ticket will cost the same as a single (TRAIN discount + 50%). On top of this, as of 1st June, České dráhy (Czech Rail) is also offering In-karta card holders a 10% discount on the current price of the four-day ticket.

How can you get hold of the discounted train ticket with České drahy? When purchasing your return ticket to Ostrava (applies to any ticket to a station with “Ostrava” in the title, issued between 17th and 21st July with the possibility of also returning on 22nd July), all you need to do is ask for the TRAIN+ discount to the Colours of Ostrava festival. You will receive your return ticket with a 50% discount. Make sure you get your ticket stamped at the České dráhy stand which will be located on the festival grounds (you can find the exact location by checking the map). On your return journey you will need to show the stamped ticket in order for the discount will be acknowledged. If you don’t get the stamp, you will have to pay for the return journey. The discount applies to 2nd class wagons and may not be used for seat reservations on the Pendolino train.

To qualify for a 10% discount on the current four-day ticket price to Colours, you will need to present your In-Karta card via Ticketpro from 1st July until 17th July. It will not possible to claim the discount at the festival site from 18th until 21st July.  Only one discounted four-day ticket can be claimed per In-Karta card. Cumulative discounts are not offered.
