If you ever travel out to the hilltop Bítov Castle or nearby Rumburak Lookout Tower in South Moravia, you might notice what looks like a large hedge maze in the nearby surroundings.

Take a closer look, however, and you’ll notice that these aren’t your typical hedges: the maze is made entirely out of cannabis.

It’s the Hemp Farm Vranč (Konopná farma Vranč), an “oasis of calm” in rural Moravia with a sand pit, a few animals, and a bar for refreshments.

Oh, and a 6000 m2 (about 1.5 acre) maze made out of cannabis plants.

For a mere 50 CZK, you can venture into the hemp labyrinth, but be warned: there’s only one entrance, and one exit, and a lot of hemp to get through to find your way out.

iDnes reporter Petr Topič recently worked his way out of the labyrinth as part of his summer journey throughout the Czech countryside.

Drone footage from above, courtesy of the Farm’s Facebook page, shows the extent of the maze:

At the nearby Jamaica Bar, you can sip on a cannabis mojito or lemonade and try some hemp sausages, and snack on some more traditional Czech (non-cannabis) snacks like fried cheese or potato pancakes.

Hemp Farm Vranč aims to raise awareness of the uses of hemp in clothing, medicine, cosmetics, food and drink production, and other areas.

Smoking in the labyrinth is prohibited.

You can lose yourself in the cannabis labyrinth daily from 10:00 – 21:00. Special night tours are given from 22:00 to midnight. The Jamaica Bar is open from 10:00.

More information about the Farm can be found at the official website or their Facebook page.
