The Prague British School is delighted to announce details of a new school in Prague 6. The new building is located in Liboc, Prague 6 (Vlastina 19), will replace the current PBS Bubenec site and will be used exclusively by PBS.

The new building provides outstanding facilities for PBS children, including superb indoor and outdoor sports areas, a dining room and over 20 spacious classrooms. PBS will move the Primary School (Nursery – Year 6) from Bubenec to Vlastina as well as opening a new Pre Nursery class for children aged 18 months – 3 years. The move will take place during the half term winter holiday. This means that the last day at Bubenec will be Thursday 31st January and the school will reopen at the new Vlastina site on Monday 11th February 2008.

PBS will open the first class of the ‘Cesko Britska Zakladni Skola´ in September 2008. This will be for fluent (native) Czech speakers aged 6 before September 1st 2008. The tuition is in Czech and English and follows the Czech curriculum Over the next four years PBS will develop this into a 5 year Primary School as in the Prague 4 school.
