The Prague Easter markets—complete with pomlázka-styled maypole trees and colorful decorations—are slated to begin this year on April 1 according to Taiko, the firm that oragnizes the annual holiday markets in the Czech capital.

Markets will take place at Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, Náměstí Republiky, and Náměstí Míru.

Smaller neighborhood markets will also be held in numerous venues, including Prague Castle, Andel, and the Náplavka marketplace. The Vyšehrad Easter carnival will also be held again this year.

In Old Town Square, the Easter market will also feature a stage that will host daily concerts and Easter events for children. Watch for more information to be added as market info is updated here

Easter Monday falls on April 17 this year. The majority of the markets run through April 23.
