Two newly released rankings offer a list of top contenders for your next getaway in Czechia or Prague staycation.

Two notable rankings of Czechia's top hotels were recently released: one of them a list of the ten best hotels in the country, based on reviews from Booking.com. Another. "The Most Magical Places of 2024" represents a best-of compilation by accomodation platform Amazing Places.

The best hotels according to Booking.com have at least 50 reviews on the site as of June 30, 2024. The ranking from Amazing Places for 2024 is compiled annually by the site and broken down into a variety of categories, ranging from resorts and villas to log cabins. An absolute winner is also chosen.

From luxe but cozy Prague hideaways to remote castles favored by celebs, here are the top contenders for your next stay in Czechia as chosen by travel insiders and enthusiasts.

Czechia's best hotels via Booking.com

1. Hotel Residence Agnes

A perennial favorite, Hotel Residence Agnes tops the list, located just 600 meters from Prague’s Old Town Square. This hotel has consistently received rave reviews on Booking.com, with over 1,700 reviews praising its warm and personal service.

2. Romantik Hotel U Raka

Tucked near Prague Castle, Romantik Hotel U Raka stands out for its intimate, family-oriented atmosphere. Founded in 1987 by photographer Alexandr Paul Jr., the hotel was originally intended to be a studio. However, after the fall of communism, the family pivoted to hospitality. 3. Jeseník Nad Odrou Castle
