Grammy-winning electro house duo the Chainsmokers are returning to Prague on October 8, 2020, for a show at Tipsport Arena. It will be the second show on their fall 2020 European tour. Tickets for Live Nation Club members go on sale November 7, and for the general public on November 8 via the Ticketmaster and Ticketportal networks.

The duo is also releasing a new single called “Push My Luck” on November 8. It is the sixth single from their upcoming World War Joy album, which features collaborations with Illenium, Lennon Stella, Bebe Rexha, Ty Dolla $ign, Bülow, 5 Seconds of Summer, among others. The singles combined have been streamed over 1 billion times.

The Chainsmokers, made up of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, started their career in 2012. Success came two years later with the club single “#Selfie,” which was a global hit with certified platinum sales in several markets.

Their debut album Memories … Do Not Open, released in 2017, contained the hit singles “Paris” and “Something Just Like This.” The latter is a collaboration with Coldplay that has 1.7 billion views on YouTube.

Their second album, Sick Boy, was better received critically than the debut, but sold somewhat less. All 10 songs from the album were released as singles, one each month in 2018 except for May and June.

When
The Chainsmokers were in Prague in February 2018, they performed the
single “Everybody Hates Me” before it had even been released,
making Prague fans the first in the world to hear it live.

Hits
from the second album include the title track and “This Feeling”
with Kelsea Ballerini.

While
critics have been mixed, the duo has won numerous prizes including
New Artist of the Year in 2016 and Artist of the Year in 2017 at the
American Music Awards. In three years they took home 10 awards from
that contest. They also have nine Billboard Music Awards, 10 iHeart
Music Awards, and a 2017 Grammy for Best Dance Recording for the
single “Don’t Let me Down.”
