Celebrate Mozart's birthday at the Estates Theatre on Jan. 27 and 28. He conducted on the stage there when he visited Prague. The program includes the overture to 'Don Giovanni' and the Prague Symphony.

A few tickets will be available at the door for French electronic music producer and DJ Laurent Garnier. The show at Roxy on Jan. 27 starts at 11 p.m., with Garnier taking over at 1 a.m. for a three-hour set.

Slovak pop star Dara Rolins celebrates turning 50 at O2 Arena on Jan. 28. She is known for her wide vocal range, which can be heard on her 2021 live album "Nablízko."

Czech heavy metal band Arakain marks the 40th anniversary by playing their biggest hits. Their tour comes to an end at O2 universum on Jan. 28.

An international lineup of illusionists will amaze the audience in C’est la Magie at the Prague Congress Center on Jan. 27 to 29.

Prague Horrortheater is back with The Cabinet of Doctor Tumblety: Eyes and Teeth, part of their ongoing Grand Guignol series. Be prepared to be scared at Divadlo MA on Jan. 28.

Radu Isac and Victor Patrascan headline the ominously titled comedy show The End of the World at the Fitzgerald on Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Those who are easily offended are warned that no controversy is off limits.

The extended concert film Billie Eilish: Live at the O2 plays for just one show in the large hall of Světozor and the more intimate space of Přítomnost on Jan. 27. The 95-minute film features 27 songs. A shorter version of the film has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Music Film.

The Christmas Story screening project comes to an end at Vnitroblok in Holešovice on Jan. 29. Titles for the last weekend include "The Great Gatsby," "Pretty Woman," "Catch Me If You Can," and two Harry Potter films.

Two restored classic Czech films screen with English subtitles as Ponrepo. The Oscar-winning Closely Watched Trains is on Jan. 27 and Marketa Lazarová, which was voted the best Czech film in a 1998 poll, is on Jan. 28.

See thematic blocks of short films in the Prague Film Awards 2023, held Jan. 27 and 28 at kino Aero. All films are English-friendly.

Pork feasts in the run-up to Masopust continue with Zabijačka v Automatu at Automat Matuška on Jan. 28.

The neighborhood of Suchdol in the north of Prague has a costumed parade followed by a pork feast at Starosuchdolská restaurace on Jan. 28.

The Ambiente chain's pork feasts continue, with Lokál Korunní joining in on Jan. 28. Different Lokál venues will have related events until Feb. 18. Kuchyň in Hradčany will serve pork specialties from Thursdays to Sundays until Feb. 12.

Try different types of coffee at Festival kávy at Pragovka on Jan. 28. You can also learn new ways to make coffee, try alternative milks, and down some coffee cocktails. Entry is free.

While the opportunities to ski in Prague are a bit limited, you can still get in the mood at Après-ski in the City Vol.II at Manifesto Anděl on Jan. 28.

Celebrate Lunar New Year on Jan. 27 at the Silq restaurant with dim sum and many other delicious dishes. Asian fusion restaurant Tepla Kacka has also prepared traditional Wonton dumplings and duck.

Vienna-based Slovak artist Silvia Krivošíková presents new works at Trafo Gallery starting Jan. 27. She gives the world a fairy-tale aura in her paintings.

Last chance: The 'fragilités' exhibition at Rudolfinum Gallery has been extended until Sunday, Jan. 29. Admission to the exhibition is free.

The newly reconstructed Baroque Clam-Gallas Palace on Mariánské náměstí in Prague hosts the exhibition Josef Mysliveček, detto Il Boemo (1737-1781) introducing visitors to the composer's life and works and more. Through Jan. 29.
