Sales Manager (Native English)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Tenders’ management
* Follow-up on a daily basis of the publication of the public tenders, through online platforms that contain a high portion of our business opportunities.
* Analysis of the tender documentation, and decision with the Head of the relevant Operations Division(s) on which call for tenders we wish to submit offers.
* Exchange with client-side procurement managers to refine our understanding of the needs and promote our offers (lobbying).
* Coordination of the dedicated team for the response to the tender. Depending on the scope and importance of the tender, these may include some or every department in the company.
* Preparation of offer (administrative documentation and sales part).
* Submission of the offer according to Tender specifications (email / online platform).
* Follow-up actions required after the submission – discussions with the client’s procurement, keeping up-to date our visibility of the analysis process up to the decision.
* Tracking and organisation of the tender documentation.
* Monitoring of the tender activity in general (performance reports, actual status of the tender activity), ensuring a good evaluation of the tender performances of the company.
* Updating the calendar of call for tenders - anticipating the upcoming tenders and scheduling pre-tender lobbying activities.
* Identifying and lobbying of tenders opportunities via web research and phone discussions.
Business development (BD)
* Analyse the activity - keep a clear overview of the customer activity (performance reports).
* Define development strategy for each division.
* Proceed with BD actions (Calls and Emailing).
* Review Solten’s database of current and past clients, identify opportunities for cross-selling, reactivate inactive clients, develop high potential clients.
Sales support for Operation Team members
* Supervise strategic quotes (quote validation / definition of sales strategy / quote follow-up support).
* Define, manage or supervise Operations’ actions (calls, meetings, emailings) with strategic clients (newly contracted clients / high potential existing clients / lost strategic clients).
* Participate to claim management meetings and advise on sales related actions.
Marketing
* Preparation and improvement of Solten’s documentation (tender documentation, brochures, quotes and email templates).
* Management of emailing campaigns.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:
Native English (French or other languages are a plus);
Degree in Sales or Marketing (preferred);
Prior sales experience (required);
Excellent communication skills;
Excellent sales spirit;
Excellent organisational skills – manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously;
Excellent analysis skills – being able to think out of the box.
