For our European Operation Center in Prague, we are currently looking for a:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Project Coordinator - you will be responsible for processing specific and client confirmed requests after information handover by the Account Manager. Consequently, you work independently or in some cases collaborate with specialised in-house departments. What to expect on a daily basis:

  • Checking the pre-set project time frame, considering its content and the consequent planning of all project related deadlines and tasks.

  • Analysing actual project needs related to text preparation and translation resources. Checking the availability of pre-selected translators or selecting them. Formatting of documents for translation, setting up a project in a cloud-based tool (depending on the difficulty degree the Project Coordinator would collaborate with a specialised in-house Technology Specialist).

  • Inserting all project information into our management system incl. the creation of purchase orders for translators. Sending all necessary work files to translators and supervising the project during its duration, e.g. replying to translators’ questions and communicating those indirectly to the client; assuring all deadlines are being kept and projects delivered on time.

  • Checking files delivered by translators for their completeness and correct layout either as a middle step in a translation and translation revision workflow or as a final verification before the delivery to the client.

  • Special linguistic verification assuring optimum quality in the field given. Confirming no machine translation has been applied, the terminology has been followed and the project translated uniformly.

  • Ensuring client satisfaction and proper management of our workflow in accordance with our ISO certifications (ISO 9001 / ISO 17100).

Types of managed projects: translations from one to several hundred pages / from one to more than thirty languages ​for all types of documents and files.

Types of clients: Large accounts, SMEs, and public clients.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH:

  • Excellent level of English and French (Candidates with English only are a possibility depending on the level of Translation / Project Coordinator experience);

  • Knowledge of the translation industry preferred;

  • Project Coordinator experience preferred;

  • Be able to organise and prioritise your own work load;

  • Be diligent to maintain a high level of quality;

  • Good analytical skills and adaptability;

  • Autonomy;

  • Have excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to deal with several projects running simultaneously.
