Service Desk Engineer with Danish

Join the support team as a Service Desk Engineer at the Prague office of a Danish company offering comprehensive IT infrastructure, operations, and support services. This hybrid role requires proficiency in Danish and a communicative level of English, with a focus on providing advanced technical support and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Job description:

  • Manage personal workload and performance to deliver top-notch, professional support to clients.

  • Communicate clearly with end-users and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues effectively.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.

  • Provide regular status updates for ongoing incidents and service requests.

  • Assist in identifying the root cause of issues and, where necessary, recommend suitable solutions or implement them through automation.

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of Service Desk processes and procedures.

  • Manage Active Directory, Windows Server, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and offer 24/7 support in rotating shifts.

Candidate profile:

  • Proficiency in Danish and communicative level of English

  • Degree in Computer Science/IT or a related field is preferred.

  • Previous experience with Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019), Active Directory configuration and management and a certification in Microsoft Desktop Management (e.g., MD-102) or similar would be a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
