Ukrainian culture| Celebrate Ukraine Day on April 21 at Kampus Hybernská, an event in collaboration with Charles University that includes Ukrainian food, lectures on Ukrainian language and literature (in Czech), and a musical performance from singer Maria Kaplina.

Tree blossom festival| The festival Hanami is an occasion to celebrate Japanese spring traditions on April 22 at Hanspaulka Park. Bring a blanket for the picnic, taste the best of Japanese gastronomy, and learn more about Japanese calligraphy, kimonos, tea, and origami.

LOR marathon|Fans of movie adaptations of J.R.R. Tolkien books can enjoy all three Lord of the Rings movie on April 22, in an Extended Trilogy marathon at Kino Aero, featuring The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. If they miss the event, another Lord of the Rings marathon takes place on May 6.

Coldplay concert|See Coldplay perform on the big screen at Kino Světozor on April 23 in a showing of their concert “Coldplay - Music Of The Spheres: Live At River Plate.” The concert was shot during Coldplay's 10 sold-out concerts at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires and includes never-before-seen backstage footage, interviews with band members, and a guest appearance from BTSs' Jin with the live debut of his popular single The Astronaut.

Otherworldly sound experiments|Lucrecia Dalt and Adela Mede play at Meet Factory on April 23. Colombian musician Lucrecia Dalt uses “a wide palette of synthesizers” to explore cultural identity, and human concepts seen through the eyes of an extraterrestrial being. Slovak-Hungarian musician Adela Mede approaches themes of home and spiritual growth through sonic minimalism.

Alternative rebellion| Polish band Izzy and the Black Trees play at Café V lese on April 23. Influenced by artists such as Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, and PJ Harvey, the group received rave reviews for their releases so far. The concert also features Czech dream-pop Indie Favorite Obsession, which mixes vintage sounds with pop melodies.

Afro night|Dance to Afrobeats and Latino music for AfroBeats - The Backyard Vibes at Manifesto Anděl on April 22. If you need some time to warm up, the classes and animations with Jamba Jamba & Marton will teach you some new moves, even if you’re a complete beginner and without dance partners. No evening at Manifesto takes place without refreshing drinks and delicious food, and this one is no exception.

Witches’ brunch and ball|Bring your little ones for brunch and an afternoon of fun at Chateau St. Havel on April 23. This witch-themed event will have children decorating brooms and crawling in witches' cauldrons while adults sip on prosecco and enjoy the large selection of cold and hot dishes, plus desserts.

Japanese/American barbecue|Taste creative food pairings at Japan Meets America- Street Food Barbecue on April 22, an event organized at Silq Restaurant in collaboration with Big Smokers. Have roast piglet with chargrilled roti bread and homemade kimchi, smoked ramen with smoked beef ribs, or chargrilled Hokkaido milk bread with Portobello mushrooms, muttabal, and tomatoes.

For green thumbs|The National Agricultural Museum Prague invites plant lovers to Herb Day 2023 on April 22. While most lectures and workshops are in Czech, this is a good occasion to buy seedlings of traditional and lesser-known herbs for your garden, as well as herbal products and refreshments.

Healthy lifestyle|Between April 21 to 23, Festival Evolution brings products for organic and eco-conscious living to Výstaviště, as well as lectures and workshops (most of them in Czech).
