Currently a leading provider in 4 markets, we’re looking for a colleague to help us expand into the Austrian market. By providing highest quality translation standards, cultural knowledge and intercultural competence, you’ll help us bring seamless experience to thousands of new customers and sitters in Austria. 

In this role, you’ll get to:

🇦🇹 Content translation. Translate content for our product, social media and other channels into Austrian-German to make it accessible and engaging for our users.

🌐 Website localisation. Customise and adapt product content to cultural contexts to meet customer expectations and ensure functional and linguistic accuracy.

🙇 Collaboration. Work with customer support, marketing, UX and design to conceptualise and utilise your cultural knowledge to help us understand and address customer needs.

⏰ Flexibility. Translate core product content in approximately the first 2 months with the ability to stay on board to ensure the website is up-to-date and fully functional.

🌍 Remote work. Work remotely from anywhere in the world.

What we’re looking for:

🇦🇹 Native Austrian-German language translator with a degree or professional experience in translation, linguistics, or a similar field.

🇬🇧 Basic verbal and written communication skills in English for internal communication.

🌐 In-depth knowledge of Austrian culture and the ability to clearly articulate cultural and linguistic nuances to team members across functions.                 

 🙇 Ability to work independently and take initiative to best advocate for your users.

⏰ Available to work an equivalent to a full time work for approximately 2 months, with the possibility of staying on for ongoing products and translation support.
