Key Responsibilities
Maintaining and managing Azure servers based on Microsoft Windows for the Aveva SCADA system
Monitoring and supporting a server farm consisting of around 30 servers in a 3-tier architecture
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to server performance, networking, and application errors
Implementing security protocols and ensuring compliance with industry standards
Performing routine system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Handling database querying and management tasks, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
Collaborating with the SCADA system team to ensure seamless data retrieval and processing from Photovoltaic Power Plants
Documenting and updating operational procedures and system configurations
Participating in disaster recovery planning and execution
Providing second-level support and assisting in the training of first-level support staff
Qualifications and Experience
At least three years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Azure server maintenance on Microsoft Windows
Strong networking skills and understanding of network protocols
Experience with database querying and management (SQL knowledge preferred)
Familiarity with SCADA systems, preferably Aveva SCADA
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Self motivated and needs little direct supervision
